Our Belief

Your Guide to Spiritual Growth

We Believe In

The Whole Bible

God inspired words and thoughts
(2 Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21; Matthew 4:4)
The Bible is infallible, God breathed and the inspired Word of God written by holy men.

The Holy Trinity

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
(Psalm 2:7; Matthew 3;16)
The godhead consists of the tri-unity of the triune God. We believe in oneness and threeness of God. That is one God in three persons. We believe all are co-existing and co-equal possessing the same attributes and essence.

The Deity of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Jesus is wholly God and wholly Man
(Ephesians 4:7-12; Galatians 3:26-28)
He was born of virgin Mary, conceived through the Holy Ghost, lived sinless life, crucified on a cross, resurrected and seated on the right hand of God the Father in heaven. Believers pray to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

Salvation

God’s salvific work through Jesus made it possible for a depraved man to experience redemption
(John 3:16-17; Acts 4:12; Ephesian 2:8-9)
Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ through the grace of God the Father. Grace is the unmerited favor of God. The blood of Jesus makes it complete.

Sin

(Romans 3:23, 4:25, 6:23)
It is disobedience to the revealed will of God. The disobedience of Adam who represented mankind placed all universally in sin. Since it marred the image of God it’s punishment is death. Sin keeps man from having a relationship with God. We believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ redeems sinful man making an atonement for sin.

Eternal Life

(John 3:1-17, 36)
Teachings about being born again, a spiritual birth that takes place from above upon confession of faith. In the first Adam all die (spiritually, physically and eternally) in Jesus Christ the last Adam all are made alive.

The Holy Spirit

(I Corinthians 6:19-20; Romans 8:15-17)
He indwells all Christians empowering them to do the will of God. The Holy Spirit’s role is to lead and guide us into all righteousness. He continues the work sanctification that began at Christian conversion.

Baptism in Water

Immersion in water in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost
(Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-7)

The Baptism in the Holy Ghost

The individual Christian experience and of all believers into the body of Christ
(Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:16,18, 25)

A Holy Life

Christlike living daily (Acts 1:8, 2:4, 4:8, 4:31)

Divine Healing

(Matthew 4:23; Exodus 5:26)

The Church

(Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:28)
We believe in the Universal Catholic Church, the mystical body, the local church and individuals consisting of the family of God. All believers must assembly themselves together for worship, communion, service and fellowship.

Justification

God forgives sin and makes believers righteous
(Romans 3:21-26, 5:18-19)

The Lord’s Supper

Partaking in it (Corinthians 5:7, 11:26-33)

The Existence of Heaven

A prepared place for a prepared people
(2 Chronicles 6:33; I Corinthians 2:9-10)

The Existence of Hell

(Matthew 7:13; Revelations 20:7-15)

The Blessed Hope

(Titus 2:12-13; I Corinthians 10:13)

Judgment

(Romans 2:5-6; Revelations 20:11-15)
